Route Setting Level 2 Qualification

ROUTE SETTING LEVEL 2 QUALIFICATION
This 2-day course will focus on route setting, best practice, equipment, ascent and descent, bag hauling, hold attachment, rope-work, WAH regulations, LOLER and ladder use. A variety of companion rescue scenarios will be trained and practised over the two days. The course is intended for climbers who have a have a good level of rope-work skills, can lead / belay and climb frequently indoors at 6b. The course is also appropriate for designated route setter rescuers and floor walkers with a route-setter rescue remit. This course is approved for 1 MTA or 2 AMI CPD points.

Please note that the Level 2 course is available to all those wishing to gain this accreditation and that completion of a Level 1 course is not a pre-requirement.

The course will be run by Pete Hill WMCI, FRGS, IRATA holder, ABC member and RSA Level 2 trainer and assessor and RSA committee member. All equipment is provided.
